Paf appoints new chief executive
Christer Fahlstedt replaces former CEO Anders Ingves who was dismissed from the operator in January

Paf has named former Tain boss Christer Fahlstedt as its new chief executive officer (CEO) following the dismissal of Anders Ingves earlier this year.
Fahlstedt has over 12 years’ experience in the online gaming industry, most recently as CEO of gaming software provider Betting Promotion Sweden AB and previously CEO of platform supplier Tain.
He replaces former CEO Ingves, who left at the end of January after the Paf board felt it “needed a different type of leader to successfully expand internationally”.
Effective from 1 June, Fahlstedt will be based at the publicly-owned company’s head office in ??land’s capital Mariehamn.
“Paf is a strong and amazing company in many ways,” said Fahlstedt.
“One strength is that Paf is successful both online and offline. When all the channels gradually merge, this will prove to be a great asset. I’m going to focus on the things that matter the most, and the user experience will be a top priority.”
Paf’s finance director Johan Rothberg served as acting CEO during the recruitment process.
The firm posted a 17% rise in full-year revenues in 2015 with its digital numbers boosted by the acquisition of Italian operator Winga in December 2014 as well as the addition of online slots in Spain last summer.
