Ex-Chevron director Nicholas Tymoshchuk links up with operator to lead on regulation and stakeholder relationships

Parimatch Tech has appointed Nicholas Tymoshchuk as its new government affairs director in an update to its senior leadership team.
Tymoshchuk joins the online operator from investment management firm UFuture where he served as CEO from July 2017 until September 2022.
Tymoshchuk boasts a strong CV in governmental relations having served as the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs director to the EU, and Chevron Ukraine’s policy, government and public affairs director.
In his new role with Parimatch Tech, Tymoshchuk will be responsible for managing the firm’s global government affairs.
He will manage communication and cooperation with government, regulators and stakeholders across Parimatch Tech’s global markets.
Tymoshchuk will split his time between Limassol, Brussels and Kyiv in his new role.
Speaking on his appointment, Tymoshchuk said he was excited to be joining a Ukrainian company and reaffirming the company’s support for those impacted by the Russian invasion.
He said: “I am thrilled to have joined this amazing team that has enjoyed decades of mind-blowing success in one of the most dynamic industries, which has essentially become an indispensable part of the technology sector.
“I am particularly proud to continue working for a business that comes from Ukraine – a very special honour and privilege today.
“Being an undisputed national champion, Parimatch is – and will remain – committed to fostering the development of a modern and transparent market in Ukraine, while relentlessly supporting the country’s inevitable victory against the barbaric Russian state,” Tymoshchuk added.
