Full Tilt boss takes up new role at PokerStars
Dominic Mansour appointed SVP of Southern Europe markets at PokerStars
Full Tilt managing director Dominic Mansour (pictured) has taken up an alternative role within parent company Amaya after his position was made redundant, eGaming Review has learned.
Mansour, who was named Full Tilt MD back in April 2014, has now been appointed SVP of Southern Europe markets at PokerStars.
The switch will see Mansour move from Full Tilt’s HQ in Dublin to PokerStars’ office in Malta, and comes after Amaya announced Full Tilt would migrate to the Stars platform.
“As a result of Full Tilt moving to the PokerStars software platform and staff moving into PokerStars management, there is no need for an MD role for Full Tilt,” Eric Hollreiser, Amaya spokesman, told EGR.
“Dominic has moved to Malta to take a role as SVP for our Southern Europe markets,” he added.
The news comes off the back of a number of senior management changes at parent company Amaya after chief exec David Baazov was charged with five counts of insider trading last month.
Baazov agreed to take an indefinite leave of absence while he “vigorously contests” the allegations, with Rational Group CEO Rafi Ashkenazi appointed chief exec of Amaya in the interim.
