BoyleSports CMO Garfield departs
Former Betsson man Neill Garfield leaves after little more than a year at the Irish bookmaker

BoyleSports chief marketing officer Neill Garfield has left the firm after just one year at the Irish bookmaker, eGaming Review has learned.
Garfield, who joined BoyleSports in January 2014, was brought in to succeed James Arnold and played a leading role in establishing the operator’s nascent Gibraltar-based operation.
However, the marketing specialist left BoyleSports just a few weeks ago to become a consultant across a number of different industries, including online gambling.
Speaking to EGR, a spokesperson for BoyleSports confirmed the exit of Garfield and said the operator had yet to appoint a successor.
“Neill’s expertise and experience are such that he will be an asset to whatever company he works with and we wish him every success in his future endeavours,” the spokesperson said.
Prior to joining BoyleSports, Garfield was MD of Betsson sportsbook brand NordicBet.
He had also held the roles of head of marketing at Australian operator Tom Waterhouse ahead the firm’s sale to William Hill, and online marketing manager at Paddy Power.
The departure of Garfield follows a raft of hires at BoyleSports, with the firm in recent months appointing former Ladbrokes head of football David Burgin as its head of trading, Paddy Power head of poker Patrick Thornton as head of digital revenues, as well as a new CTO.
