Bingoal signs up for IBIA membership
Belgian gambling firm to integrate with standards body’s integrity-based alert platform

Belgian-based retail and online gambling operator Bingoal has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Under the terms of the membership, Bingoal will add its sportsbook operating database to the IBIA’s global betting integrity monitoring and alert platform.
In addition, Bingoal will share data with more than 85 IBIA members, which include bet365, GVC, William Hill and Betsson Group.
The firm becomes the fifth new member to join the IBIA in 2020, following the lead of DraftKings, Superbet and Football Index.
“Bingoal is a very welcome addition to IBIA’s monitoring and alert platform and increases the association’s global regulated market oversight,” IBIA CEO Khalid Ali said.
“The operator adds both retail and online intelligence capacity, with the former often being overlooked in the wider integrity data gathering debate.
“It is very pleasing that responsible operators such as Bingoal continue to recognise the importance of integrity and see IBIA as their preferred partner,” he added.
Bingoal started life in the 1980s as a horseracing betting operator under the guise of the Belgian PMU before expanding to include online casino and sports betting operations across more than 50 national and international sports markets.
Bingoal supports several Belgian national and local sports teams as main sponsor, including Belgian first division side Lommel SK and the Bingoal-Wallonie Bruxelles and Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal cycling teams.
“As a socially responsible business, Bingoal recognises that maintaining the integrity of our sportsbook product is an essential pillar of our commitment towards protecting our customers and the sporting events on which we offer markets,” Bingoal CEO Joeri Impens said.
“The IBIA is the world leader in this area and its global operational focus and capacity to protect its members’ businesses was an important factor in our decision to join the association,” he added.
