Gaming1 inks IBIA membership deal
Argent Group subsidiary signs up to integrity-based monitoring and alert platform

Belgium-based gambling operator Gaming1 has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Under the terms of its membership, Gaming1 betting brands including Circus and Zamba will now feed betting data into the IBIA’s global monitoring and alert platform.
Gaming1 is part of the Argent Group with retail and online sports betting operations mainly focused on the European and US sports betting markets.
“Betting integrity is increasingly becoming a central part of the licensing and regulatory process in markets around the world,” Gaming1 co-founder and COO Sylvain Boniver said.
“We believe that it is vital that betting operators work together to harness their unique market data and intelligence gathering capabilities to meet the concerns of regulators and to protect consumers and sports from corruption.
“IBIA, as the leading global body on integrity for regulated operators, is the perfect partner for Gaming1 and marks the achievement of our market and player-protection aims,” Boniver added.
IBIA members account for $137bn (£99.6bn) of global betting turnover per annum and almost 50% of all regulated commercial online betting activity.
Operators including bet365, Entain, Betsson Group, Kindred, William Hill and LeoVegas are all part of the IBIA.
The organisation represents the sector at high-level policy discussion forums, such as the IOC, UN, Council of Europe and European Commission.
