NeoGames strikes Czech lottery deal
Online lottery supplier, part-owned by William Hill, to bring Sazka's land-based products to a digital audience

NeoGames has struck a deal to bring one of the Czech Republic’s largest land-based lottery operators online through the provision of its iLottery 360 platform.
Sazka, which has forged a strong reputation as a retail lottery operator, will also receive NeoGames’ integrated player management tools and games from both the supplier and third-party providers.
The deal marks the latest stage in Sazka’s strategy to establish itself as an online operator. Last week the firm signed a deal with SBTech for a full turnkey online betting solution.
“Sazka has been the fastest growing lottery in recent years in Europe and we look forward to supporting their growth in the online space,” Ilan Rosen, NeoGames CEO, said.
“Following implementation of our proven iLottery 360 solution, Sazka will introduce sports betting and lottery game verticals as well as other products as regulations evolve to allow them,” he added.
News of the Sazka agreement comes as NeoGames, which is 29% owned by William Hill, secured a five-year deal with Lithuanian lottery operator Lietloto to provide a range of instant, scratch and Keno games.
“Leveraging our extensive experience, we are ready to implement a broad portfolio of innovative games and services customized to enable Lietloto to significantly grow revenues and strengthen its position of leadership in the Lithuanian market,” Rosen said.
Sazka and Lietloto join a roster of NeoGames’ clients which include the likes of Italian operator Sisal, Portugal monopoly Santa Casa and US state lottery Michigan Lottery.
William Hill acquired its stake in NeoGames in August for ?14m and reserves the right to increase its shareholding after three and five years.
Last month Rosen told eGaming Review that NeoGames was using William Hill’s omni-channel experience to influence its online lottery products.
