Parimatch onboards Oleksandr Usyk to promote responsible gambling
The 2012 Olympic gold medal winner will become the operator’s first-ever responsible gambling project ambassador

Parimatch has joined forces with Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champ Oleksandr Usyk to promote the responsible gambling principles and tools provided by the Cyprus-headquartered operator. The 2012 Olympic gold medal winner will be Parimatch’s first-ever responsible gambling project ambassador. Usyk said: “Willpower, intrinsic motivation and self-control are the key elements for victory. The same goes for gambling: it is important to stay mindful while gambling, to understand that this is just a way to have fun and get positive emotions, and you can always pause if necessary.” Meanwhile, Parimatch also plans to conduct educational events for clients and raise awareness about gambling in the community. Usyk becomes the latest addition to Parimatch’s vibrant string of ambassadors, which already includes Conor McGregor, UFC fighters Petr Yan and the Shevchenko sisters and boxer Mike Tyson. “Our team will advance the responsible gambling project in development, analytics and communication with clients,” said Parimatch Tech co-CEO Maksym Liashko. “We are confident that the partnership with Oleksandr will take our initiatives to a new level and help Parimatch spread knowledge about responsible gambling among players worldwide.” Parimatch has previously signed agreements with Premier League football clubs like Chelsea, Leicester City, Everton, Aston Villa, Brighton and Southampton and Juventus.
