
Super Group lands SVP of legal and regulatory affairs
Lawyer Antony Gevisser joins Betway parent company in full-time role after more than a decade as a legal adviser


Super Group has appointed legal expert Antony Gevisser as the company’s SVP of legal and regulatory affairs.
Gevisser joins the New York-listed firm to advise across all global operational legal matters.
Gevisser has served as a consultant lawyer to Super Group for more than 13 years across litigation, commercial contracts, intellectual property and global regulatory affairs.
Super Group, the parent company for online brands Betway and Spin, is continuing to action a global expansion roadmap including market penetrations across Europe and the US.
In his role as SVP of legal and regulatory affairs, Gevisser will assist with market-access agreements, relations with regulators and managing daily legal and regulatory risk operations.
He will also oversee a network of jurisdictional legal experts.
He has served as an independent legal consultant for Gevisser Law LLP since December 2007.
Gevisser has also served as a commissioner for the CCMA, an independent labour relations resolution body in South Africa.
Gevisser will be based in London and will report into Super Group CEO Neal Menashe.
Last week, Super Group announced it anticipates full-year net gaming revenue for 2021 of $1.52bn with EBITDA set to surpass the $350m mark.
