Bet On Good Foundation CEO praises “tremendous” industry for supporting Ukraine
Vlad Slyusarenko states that the igaming industry has helped get the charity off the ground and that it is close to completing its first projects

Following the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, TVBET chief marketing officer Vlad Slyusarenko together with TVBET CEO Peter Korpusenko established the Bet On Good Foundation as its CEO.
The Bet On Good Foundation is a charitable organisation created by Ukrainians from different parts of the world who work in the gambling industry, and aims to unite companies representing the igaming industry at global level, to deliver support for those impacted by the war.
Initially starting with rebuilding civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, the charity has since extended its reach to help support causes across Europe and further afield.
Speaking to EGR, Slyusarenko explained why the foundation was established and how it came into being.
He said: “As the war escalated, we understood the scale of problems. This forced us to reconsider our activities and find more effective means to help. A study into the strategies brought clarity to the fact that there was no charitable foundation uniting all betting companies.
“This discovery served as the ground for us to form the concept of the Bet on Good Foundation. We started to create a fund that brings everyone together and makes us really strong and ready to solve big issues. We actively attend various events and see how warmly and empathetically many people from our industry respond to Ukraine’s cause.”
The foundation has already set up a number of projects, including helping support the armed forces and helping those in the cities of Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia.
He said: “We are now actively forming a pool of initial projects. We will divide activities into areas and work hard with potential partners to draw their attention to specific problems in Ukraine.
“At the moment, we are launching a fundraiser for the city of Mykolaiv and solving its catastrophic problem with drinking water. Also, we’re aiming to help the citizens of Zaporizhzhia. Very soon, we will also deliver the first vehicle for the armed forces of Ukraine.”
In terms of support from the industry, Slyusarenko said he had been overwhelmed by how the industry has rallied around Ukraine and offered to support the Bet On Good Foundation.
The CEO commented: “The igaming industry has been very active in its support of Ukraine. This commitment has inspired us a lot as it makes us feel that we are not alone and we’re doing the right thing. So many companies have supported Ukraine from the very beginning in all sorts of ways, including donations to charitable foundations or helping initiatives aimed at protecting the people of Ukraine.
“We have received tremendous support from our partners from all over the world since the very beginning of the launch of our charity fund, and we are hugely grateful to them. We are already planning our first projects with some of them. But also, we are still open to any proposals and are waiting for gaming companies to become part of our fund.”
