Washington was the 21st state to legalize sports betting on March 25, 2020, when Governor Jay Inslee signed bill HB 2638 into law.
Legal sports betting went officially live in Washington State on September 15 of this year, although retail and mobile wagering is restricted to the jurisdiction’s tribal casinos.
There are 29 federally recognized casinos in the Northwest state, which boasts a population of more than seven million.
