Better Collective makes move on Romanian market

Better Collective has officially joined the newly regulated Romanian market with the purchase of sportsbetting affiliate PariuriX.

The acquisition was announced after Better Collective secured a Romanian affiliate licence as part of its long-term acquisition strategy which focuses on expansion into regulated markets.

The affiliate firm has said the acquisition will act as a new market complement to its own product bettingexpert.com and the move will allow for growth on both sides.

“With the acquisition of PariuriX, Better Collective immediately becomes a leading sports betting affiliate in Romania,” said Michael Kopec, head of M&A at Better Collective.

“Adding another regulated market to the portfolio of the company is an important strategic step.

“We are very happy that we are taking over a well-established and recognised brand and the previous owner, Marius Cădar, has done a great job in developing PariuriX.”
