myLotto24 launches in UK with Spanish lotteries marketing stunt
Comedy mascot visits London landmarks to announce that British punters can bet on Spanish annual lottery

Lottery betting business myLotto24 marked its UK launch with an ambitious marketing stunt this week.
British punters will be able to bet on ‘El Gordo’, an annual lottery taking place on 22 December and to mark the occasion a fat-suit wearing mascot dubbed The Fat-ador was paraded around London.
Translated literally as ‘The Fat One’, Spain’s El Gordo 2017 draw has an estimated prize pool of €2.3bn, the biggest of any national lottery.

“El Gordo is the mother of all lotteries, and now Brits can bet for seriously life-changing prizes through myLotto24.”
Any profits from bets placed on El Gordo today will be donated to the Terrence Higgin’s Trust as part of Small Charities Day.
