Football Index nets Notts County shirt sponsorship
Operator’s branding will feature on the team’s shirts during its January home matches against Cambridge and Newport

Football Index has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with League Two football team Notts County during January 2019.
The operator’s branding will feature on the front of the team’s shirts for its games against Cambridge, Newport County, Colchester, Oldham and Yeovil.
Adam Cole, Football Index founder and CEO, said: “Notts County are a side steeped in history and we are delighted to have agreed a deal to be their front of shirt sponsor for January.
“The League Two side have some of the most passionate and loyal fans in football and we see this as a great opportunity to raise our profile and look forward to supporting them to victory,” Cole added.
Kirsty Edwards, commercial director at Notts County, said: “Football Index offers one of the most innovative and exciting products on the market and we are really pleased to have formed a partnership with them.”
The firm also sponsors Bristol Rovers and has John Motson and Guillem Balague as ambassadors.
In October 2018 Football Index named Brian Mattingley as its new chairman, as well as Mark Blandford as a board advisor and Andrew Burns as group chief financial officer (CFO).
Cole spoke to EGR about the mechanics of the “stock market for footballers” in November last year.
