Q: What makes Parimatch a great partner for affiliates?
We are a fair partner and look to establish long-term affiliate relationships. We are tech driven in our approach – I don’t think there are a lot of affiliate programmes which provide sophisticated tech tools to affiliates. For example, we have developed our own traffic distribution system so our affiliates can monitor, analyse and redistribute traffic to optimise performance.
Q: What do enjoy most about your job?
The ability to set trends. Parimatch is a global company with big ambitions for our brand. We have always done things differently to stand out in the market, but to boost our brand further we must create something completely new while staying true to our brand identity.
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to an aspiring CMO, what would it be?
Adopt a helicopter view for a full understanding of the operations of your team. Experience exchange is critical. You need to understand both the day-to-day mechanics and bigger picture of the team structure and processes in order to maximise team effectiveness.

Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven.
Q: Which one thing can’t you live without?
Chocolate… or any kind of candy for that matter!

Q: Where would you time travel to and why?
Ancient Greece. Modern day life owes so much to Greek civilisation, it would be fascinating to experience the society that is the bedrock of Western culture.
Q: What is your favourite TV programme?
I don’t often have time to commit to watching a TV series!
Q: What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
I like to switch off in the evenings by scrolling through memes on Instagram.
Q: If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on?
An Italian villa near the sea and a Porsche 911.

Ivan Liashenko became chief marketing officer at Parimatch Holdings in August 2019 and is responsible for marketing strategy and overall brand management. Prior to this, he led the development of client interfaces and product delivery, and has also held roles in the payment department. Prior to joining Parimatch, Liashenko worked in a bank where he focused on digital products and marketing.
