Action Network strikes MLB content deal
Better Collective-owned affiliate brand adds US baseball to official partnership portfolio alongside NBA and PGA Tour

The Action Network has sealed a multi-platform content partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB).
The agreement marks another addition to the portfolio of league partnerships for the Better Collective-owned affiliate brand, which already includes the PGA Tour and the NBA.
Later this month, Action Network will start providing content to MLB to help service fans and bettors already using the league’s digital platforms.
The deal will feature three components — written content, live shows and integration between Action’s talent and data and MLB’s existing online content.
The syndicated written content will include articles, featuring both actionable betting advice and educational content. These will be published on MLB’s digital platforms including MLB.com.
Live programming will see Action Network produce a weekly 30-minute show called Payoff Pitch with betting analysis and advice for that week’s games, starring Action MLB experts Sean Zerillo and Collin Wilson, as well as special guests.
With regards to integration, Action Network talent will regularly appear on MLB’s existing shows, including its betting-specific show Bettor’s Eye.
Danish affiliate giant Better Collective secured a record $240m acquisition of Action Network in May.
