
Betano signs three-year shirt sponsorship deal with Lokomotiv Sofia
Kaizen Gaming brand expands sponsorship portfolio following recent licensing in Bulgaria

Betano, a subsidiary of Kaizen Gaming, has announced a three-year shirt sponsorship with Bulgarian First Professional Football League side Lokomotiv Sofia.
The deal between the sports betting operator and the three-time top-tier winners, otherwise known as the Railwaymen, will see the Betano logo displayed on Lokomov’s playing shirt as well as providing access to exclusive content and other digital assets.
In addition, Betano will have access to branding around Stadion Lokomotiv while branding will feature on social media posts from the club.
The sponsorship deal comes on the back of the firm’s recent launch in Bulgaria.
Tsvetin Yordanov, Kaizen Gaming country manager for Bulgaria, said: “I am delighted to announce our partnership with Lokomotiv Sofia, an historic football club and an incredible team.
“We are thrilled that the Betano logo will from now on, be featured on the Railwaymen’s jersey and we look forward to celebrating wins and undertaking joint social initiatives together,” he added.
Ivan Vassilev, the owner of Lokomotiv Sofia, added: “I am proud that Lokomotiv Sofia is the first club to be sponsored by an internationally proven company.”
Kaizen Gaming has established multiple partnerships with football teams in recent months. Following the granting of licence in Portugal, Betano signed partnership deals with six clubs, Sporting, Benfica, Porto, Braga, Belenenses and Maritimo while also securing deals in Brazil with Atlético Mineiro and Fluminense, Olympiacos in Greece and Steaua Bucharest in Romania.
Kaizen finished in 29th place in EGR’s 2021 Power 50 and operates in eight countries worldwide across Europe and South America through two brands, Betano and Stoiximan.
