The granddaughter of flat and National Hunt trainer Mick Easterby, Mason, has been racing for 14 years, with her first win in the amateur ranks in 2007.
She rode her first winner as a professional jockey when she steered Marwari to victory at Newcastle on New Year’s Eve 2020.
Mason, who has held professional licence since November 2020, was recently drafted as part of Team Yorkshire for the upcoming Racing League competition.
In 2021, she recorded 44 wins, making her one of the top jockeys in the North of England. Mason was also the leading jockey at the Beverly Racecourse in 2021.
Her most recent win came at Southwell on 13 February 2022. She finished third and fourth at Wolverhampton in her most recent races.
Sky Bet and Gaming commented: “Sky Bet are delighted to have Joanna Mason as our flat jockey ambassador. Joanna had a great season last year and we are very much looking forward to working with her over the coming months.”
