1xBet and PFL agree Latam- and Africa-facing deal
Online sports betting operator becomes latest partner of second-highest ranked MMA competition

Online sports betting operator 1xBet has announced it has partnered with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) to become its exclusive betting partner in Latam and sub-Saharan Africa.
The PFL becomes the latest partner in 1xBet’s burgeoning sports portfolio following partnerships with FC Barcelona, FC Lyon, Serie A and La Liga.
1xBet will become the second betting company to team up with PFL after DrafKings became the league’s first official sportsbook partner in April 2021.
The deal will allow customers in Latam to bet on what is left of the 2022 regular season, the PLF playoffs and the World Championships, while in sub-Saharan Africa, customers will be able to bet up until the first events of the playoffs.
Alex Sommers, 1xBet spokesperson, said: “For us, the partnership agreement with the PFL is an excellent opportunity to support MMA development.
“We want mixed martial arts fans to get the best opportunity to support their favourite fighters and have a great, innovative experience.”
PFL is the second-highest ranked MMA company in the world and in April 2021 received funding from rapper Wiz Khalifa and NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.
