Stoiximan goes live with voice-activated mobile app

Greek operator focuses on entertainment with fast and innovative iOS app
Greek operator Stoiximan has launched its new iOS mobile app featuring voice activated betting as it looks to take advantage of the growing mobile market in Greece.
The mobile app, which launched in April, includes an innovative âTalk nâBetâ feature that allows users to place a bet in-play or navigate through sections using their own voice.
Other unique features include MyLive, where bettors can customise a live page by adding their favourite leagues or markets, and the SpeedBet function, which allows users to place a bet in under two seconds.
The app also allows bettors to share their bet with friends via social media, watch games with live streaming, and receive smart notifications of match updates and when a bet has been settled.
Developed in-house, the firm told eGaming Review they wanted to develop an app that would entertain its customers.
âWith more than half of our GGR coming from mobile, one key consideration we made before starting the design of the application was that over 80% of bets placed via mobile were in-play. This made it crucial for us to design and develop a lightning fast application with clear focus on in-play,” George Kourakos, product and innovation director at Stoiximan, said.
âOur main mission is to offer entertainment to our members. Innovation and new features are essential if we want to continue in this direction.”
The firm expects to launch native applications on all other platforms by Q3 2016.
