Worldpay launches widespread fast withdrawal function in UK
Service will allow operators to send funds to players via Visa cards in 30 minutes or less
Payment provider Worldpay has partnered with Visa to launch a fast withdrawal function in the UK.
The service, dubbed Fast Access, will enable UK-facing online gambling operators to send funds to customers within 30 minutes via their Visa credit or debit card.
A statement by WorldPay said the service would allow companies to make “faster, seamless card-based payouts in near-real time”.
Sky Betting & Gaming launched a similar service in November last year, however the function was limited to Barclaycard users.
Trustly’s PayNPlay service has popularised fast withdrawal functions in the Nordics with the likes of Global Gaming’s Ninja Casino and Cherry’s ComeOn adopting the function early on.
Shane Happach, executive vice president at Worldpay, said: “As more and more companies send payments at lower values, cross-border, it will become a competitive differentiator to send quicker payouts to consumers and inexpensive disbursements to vendors and suppliers.”
