Bitcasino to sponsor Covid-19 fundraising concert
Crypto-led operator lends its name to charity initiative in light of coronavirus pandemic

Bitcasino has announced its support for a virtual relief benefit concert designed to raise funds for those affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
The Giving Tuesday, which has been organised by crypto-charity group The Giving Block, will take place on 5 May with funds raised via crypto donations being used in emergency response to the pandemic.
The move to sponsor the event comes off the back of the bitcoin-first online casino operator’s three-week long fundraising campaign, Crypto vs Covid-19.
The campaign has seen players offered the option to donate their unused loyalty rewards to support the fight against Covid-19.
Tauri Tiitsaar, Bitcasino director of casino, said: “Standing with the crypto community and supporting the efforts to tackle Covid-19, which has left a mark on so many lives, is one of the most important things we’ve ever done.
“The human crisis we’re witnessing is something we’ve never challenged before and everyone has been under so much stress, but together we’re stronger in these unprecedented times.
“Bitcasino has always considered itself a fun, fast and fair crypto company and partnering with GivingTuesday we feel we can help make a difference and bring more generosity to the world,” he added.
