
Footstock partners with HooYu for KYC technology
DFS-hybrid mobile app aims to improve customer experience and accelerate onboarding process


Fantasy football mobile gambling app Footstock has partnered with KYC specialist HooYu to optimise UX and customer experience.
Footstock, which launched in April 2019 and claims to combine the best of DFS, Football Index and FIFA Ultimate Team, has seen rapid expansion since the coronavirus pandemic and will now tap into HooYu’s customer sign-up process to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
Up to this point, Footstock had been manually conducting its KYC process, with new customer registrations taking up to 24 hours. With HooYu’s technology and verification checks, the process can be completed in mere minutes.
James Copewell, Footstock CMO, said: “Any delay or obstacle in the customer sign-up process is an opportunity for that customer to abandon and drop-off but HooYu has been able to automate and streamline the KYC process for us.”
