PrizePicks ramps up esports DFS offering
DFS operator adds three new titles to blossoming esports package as it looks to gain dominance in North America

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator PrizePicks has bolstered its esports offering with the addition of three new titles to its platform.
The Atlanta-based group has added Call of Duty, Rocket League and Valorant to its marketplace.
The operator already features Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and League of Legends on its platform.
PrizePicks said the addition of the three titles was a “major step” in solidifying PrizePicks as the “premier fantasy esports operator in North America”.
PrizePicks also said its new esports offering was “unmatched by any other DFS operator in North America”.
Adam Wexler, PrizePicks CEO, said esports had grown from an emerging vertical in the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic to a standalone vertical in its own right.
He said: “Esports was an important offering for us in early 2020 when the pandemic shut everything down, but not only did our monthly esports handle stay strong when the NBA, NFL and college sports returned, it actually grew in unison with our traditional sports over those last six months of the year.
“These are franchises with fan bases that span decades in some cases and they’ve historically been underserved by sportsbooks and fantasy platforms. We’re thrilled to offer this variety of playable options,” he added.
