Entain Foundation launches new RG app for US market
Not-for-profit group unveils first-of-its-kind educational app developed in collaboration with EPIC Risk Management and RG24/7

The Entain Foundation has launched a first-of-its-kind app dedicated to responsible gambling for US consumers.
The app, known as Gamble Responsibly America, aims to serve as a comprehensive resource for individuals potentially at risk of gambling-related harm.
The free-to-download app is now available in the App Store and Google Play Store, and features a series of educational resources and tools to help support anyone facing potential issues with problem gambling.
There is no registration requirement on the app, which is unbranded and operates as an educational resource.
Neither Entain nor its BetMGM subsidiary will receive any commercial benefit from the new app, according to the foundation.
App features include information on limits and safer gambling tools, a self-assessment quiz and gambling diary, as well as guidance on potential markers of harm that players might experience.
The app also includes a 24/7 function that directs the individual to the National Council on Problem Gambling’s live chat helpline, as well as directions on where to find additional resources as required.
The Gamble Responsibly America app was developed by the Entain Foundation in partnership with gambling-related harm education consultancy EPIC Risk Management and RG24/7.
Martin Lycka, Entain Foundation US trustee and senior VP for American regulatory affairs and responsible gambling, welcomed the launch of the new app, which is available in both the English and Spanish language.
“We are incredibly proud to be launching the Gamble Responsibly America app as our commitment to responsible betting and gaming is unmatched within the industry,” Lycka said.
“Through this first-of-its-kind app, we are determined to continue helping individuals by providing the resources and programmes necessary to ensure everyone is betting and gaming responsibly,” he added.
In February, the Entain Foundation revealed it would extend its regulation and compliance-based training to individuals working within the US sports betting industry.
It also operates education initiatives for college sports stars around the growing presence of sports betting and igaming in the US.
