
Skrill adds 20 new cryptocurrencies to digital wallet
Paysafe-owned brand also expands cryptocurrency capabilities into 11 additional US states


Paysafe subsidiary Skrill has significantly bolstered its cryptocurrency capabilities with the addition of 20 new coins to its digital wallet.
The integration of a further 20 cryptocurrencies takes the total number within the Skrill ecosystem to 35 for customers based outside of the US.
Coins such as the infamous Dogecoin, made popular by Tesla chief Elon Musk, has been bolted on to the wallet.
Additionally, Skrill has expanded its cryptocurrency buy and sell services into a further 11 US states, including California, Florida and Pennsylvania, taking the total number of states and territories covered to 48.
The new cryptocurrencies have also been added to Paysafe’s other digital wallet subsidiary Neteller.
Rupinder Singh, Paysafe SVP for digital wallets, said: “After a surge in overall activity in the industry we’re seeing more interest in cryptocurrency than ever from our digital wallet customers, both current and new.
“The potential for this service is growing all the time, and we want to continue to expand responsibly what we offer at the same rate by adding new functionality, enabling new currencies and launching in new territories,” he added.
