New functionality and graphics brought to partypoker
Entain-owned online poker room upgrades desktop tables after seeking feedback from players on look and feel

Online poker operator partypoker has launched a range of new tables as part of a software revamp to its desktop offering.
The update has been introduced to enhance the look and functionality of the company’s poker offering.
This includes overhauled table graphics and larger player avatars. The company implemented these changes saying: “You asked, we delivered.”
Moreover, new cards, emojis, avatars and throwables have also been included in the upgrade, aiding players’ interactions during poker sessions.
Fixing the hassle of having to return to the main lobby to edit in-game settings, players can now make any changes without leaving the table following the addition of a new tab added to the corner of the screen.
Meanwhile, the larger avatars, which partypoker said has made them more visible, now flash different colours when a player is waiting to act, has bet, folded or is all-in.
To the left of a player’s avatar is a new hand strength indicator which updates in real-time and can be toggled on or off.
Note-taking is another addition where players can make detailed colour-coded notes on opponents, and this changes the colour of the halo surrounding each player’s avatar.
Hovering over a player will make the note appear above their avatar and therefore easier to access.
Additionally, an improvement to the in-the-money (ITM) indicator has been introduced, allowing players to keep track of where they stand in each tournament.
