Exclusive: Genius Sports agrees data-led Tipsport partnership extension
Improved deal will see the data firm provide pre-match, live data, live trading and streaming solutions across thousands of events a year
Genius Sports has announced that it has agreed a major expansion of its current long-term partnership with Czech-headquartered Tipsport across both retail and online verticals.
Under the revised deal, Tipsport has agreed to a significant increase in annual events covered by Genius Sports’ suite of data-driven PreMatch, LiveData, and live trading tools.
In addition, Genius Sports will deliver real-time feeds and pricing across several sporting competitions such as the English Premier League, Euroleague Basketball and the NFL.
The length of the revised deal has not been disclosed, however this expansion will see Tipsport gain access to Genius’ full NFL product suite, which includes access to real-time stats, proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS) and official sports betting data feed.
The London-headquartered sports data firm will also supply the Czech operator with its streaming solution, which includes the top football league tiers of Argentina, Colombia, Iceland and China, and dozens of FIBA basketball and FIVB volleyball leagues globally.
Tipsport head of data and streaming Petr Komarek welcomed the new revised deal and the possibilities afforded by it.
