Entain onboards industry newcomer as group head of ethics and compliance
Karen Nightingale joins the FTSE 100 giant from Royal Mail and will begin her remit on 13 February

Entain has appointed Karen Nightingale as its new group head of ethics and compliance.
She will join the London-listed firm on 13 February 2023, following a near-seven year spell with the Royal Mail.
Nightingale joined the postal giant in March 2016 as a senior competition and regulatory lawyer.
In her time with the company, Nightingale held several positions, culminating in her final role as director of compliance and ethics, a position she held from January 2022 until her move to Entain.
Prior to her time at the postal giant, she spent a decade at the telecommunications juggernaut BT as a senior competition and regulatory lawyer.
Nightingale also previously held roles at the legal firms Bird & Bird and Berwin Leighton Paisner.
Posting on LinkedIn, Nightingale said: “I am very pleased to announce that I am starting a new role at Entain on 13 February as their group head of ethics and compliance. I am really looking forward to joining one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming entertainment groups. A new sector, new stakeholders, new challenges [it is] all very exciting.”
