Slots Tracker: All change in March as Fortune Coin dethrones IGT’s Cleopatra
IGT-developed slots switch places at rankings summit as Cleopatra’s two-month reign ends

The two-month-long reign of IGT’s Cleopatra at the top of the EGR North America US Slots Rankings ended in March, with Fortune Coin taking over from its fellow IGT-developed title.
Latest data from EGR’s new partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) confirmed the shift in the top two, with Gameburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire retaining its bronze medal position going into March.
Also swapping places during the month were IGT’s Cash Eruption and Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes, switching between fourth and fifth places, respectively, just ahead of Fortune Factory Studios’ top-six debutant Gold Blitz, which jumped seven places in March to sixth.
Top-six switching extended further down the rankings to seventh and eighth spots in March, as Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza and ReelPlay’s HyperNova Megaways traded places in the list.
NetEnt’s Divine Fortune saw a three-place jump in its rankings spot to ninth place, while March debutant, Sugar Craze Bonanza, developed by Hammertime Games, made an entry into the top 10.
The latter was one of three slots games to enter the US Slots Rankings during March, with Aurum Signature Studios’ Rewards City and Neon Valley Studios Gallo Gold Bruno’s Megaways both taking their rankings bow during the month.
March’s biggest faller in the rankings was IGT’s Triple Diamond, which saw its sixth position in February toppled by a rankings position of 19th just a month later.
Jumping into the top-20 spots during March were AGS’s Capital Gains, IGT’s Cats, and Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes Megaways.
EGM data reviewed 97 sites in March 2023, with 2,994 games scrutinized. A total of 110 webpages were examined across eight territories.
In the US, these included New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia, while in Canada, the list included including Ontario, British Columbia, and New Brunswick.
