666BET completes major platform overhaul
Sportsbook platform has migrated to BetConstruct, while MetroPlay online casino has moved to EveryMatrix platform
666BET has completed a major overhaul of its sportsbook and MetroPlay online casino site after migrating platforms to BetConstruct and EveryMatrix respectively.
The upgrades were announced last month and include a visual redesign for MetroPlay, which will now use EveryMatrix’s new CMS system.
The updated 666BET.com site includes the new BetConstruct-powered sportsbook, plus a mobile offering and new payment provider under MetroPlay’s Alderney licence.
“This is the next stage in the development of 666BET,” CEO Barry Martin (pictured), said.
“We launched with Novigroup back in June, but their platform is quite small and has struggled to cope with the number of players that have come in through 666BET,” he added.
666BET acquired MetroPlay from DMG Media in September for an undisclosed fee and has said it plans to be involved in further M&A activity in the future.
“The acquisition of MetroPlay was a game changer for us and it made sense to move 666BET’s casino platform to EveryMatrix,” Martin said.
“We are now in a position where we have a bigger platform and a better, more engaging website for our players. It is our aim to become a tier one operator and we now have the platform to achieve that.”
