Duelbits inks partnership with World Snooker Tour
Crypto-first firm secures title rights for the three-event Duelbits Series between January and April

Crypto casino and sportsbook operator Duelbits has teamed up with World Snooker Tour (WST) to sponsor three major tournaments.
The three tournaments are part of the 2023 Duelbits Series, which kicked off with the Duelbits World Grand Prix on 16 January in Cheltenham and features the world’s top 32 snooker stars.
The top 16 players will progress to the Duelbits Players Championship, which will take place in Wolverhampton between 20 and 26 February.
The top eight from that tournament will then compete in the final event in the series, the Duelbits Tour Championship, which starts on 27 March in Hull.
In the UK, the tournaments will feature on ITV and will also be broadcast around the world.
Duelbits has replaced online used car retailer Cazoo as the title sponsor for the series.
WST chairman Steve Dawson said: “We are thrilled to bring Duelbits on board for the first time, for three of our biggest tournaments. This series of events is unique because the players qualify through their performances during the season, so the players on form are rewarded and we are sure to see snooker of the highest quality.
“Duelbits has recognised this opportunity to grow their brand and join our journey as we continue to grow worldwide. We look forward to working with them through this series.”
Ross Haffie, head of sportsbook at Duelbits, added: “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with WST to bring to you the Duelbits Series. This series rewards the best 32 players throughout the season and we see this as an ideal opportunity to grow our audience with one of the most prestigious brands in worldwide sport.”
