Betsson lands title rights to Chilean football's top division
Stockholm-listed operator partners with Chilean FA to expand on former partnerships for 2023 season

Betsson has put pen to paper on an agreement with Chile’s National Association of Professional Football (ANFP) to become the title sponsor of the Chilean Primera División.
Under the remit of the agreement, the tournament will be known as the Campeonato Betsson for the 2023 season.
The deal to sponsor the Chilean First Division follows on from Betsson’s previous agreement with the ANFP.
Betsson was the title sponsor for the Chilean Segunda División last year. It also previously sponsored Chilean team Colo-Colo during the 2022 season and the Chilean National Team during the World Cup qualifiers.
As part of the new sponsorship, Betsson and the ANFP will work together to promote responsible gambling.
Ronni Hartvig, Betsson chief commercial officer, said: “Through this latest collaboration, we are steadfastly reinforcing our commitment to support the development of football in Chile.
“It is evident that the advantages of this partnership are mutual, as these alliances allow the tournament to advance and flourish, while also enabling our brand to strengthen its preeminent position within the region,” he added.
Pablo Milad, ANFP president, commented: “We are pleased to sign this alliance with Betsson and are confident that the agreement will serve to enhance the promotion and development of Chilean football and of our tournament.”
