666BET plots major product overhaul
Firm to launch new BetConstruct-powered sportsbook products next month across both 666Bet.com and MetroPlay.com

666BET has unveiled a redesigned Metro Play site ahead of a major overhaul of both brands next month including the launch of new sports betting products in partnership with BetConstruct.
The online casino underwent a visual overhaul yesterday, in addition to utilising EveryMatrix’s new CMS system, while a new 666Bet.com site is set to launch on 15 December featuring a new sportsbook, mobile offering and payment provider under Metro Play’s Alderney licence.
“There will be some similarities in layout but the two products have a distinct character with Metro Play more of a contemporary site while 666bet is more irreverent and racy,” 666BET CEO, Barry Martin, told eGaming Review this morning.
666BET acquired Metro Play from DMG Media in September for an undisclosed fee and has said it plans to be involved in further M&A activity in the future.
The operator has also struck a deal to incorporate Colossus Bets’ pools betting platform while a bingo product is expected to be launched on Metro Play in the second week of January.
“I really like the product as it’s not really sports betting,” Martin said of Colossus Bets. “It’s more a lottery-type game for sports punters and it will give us a marketing angle as well with the £10m prize pot,” he added.
The CEO told eGR that the operator was now considering launching a poker product on the OnGame network following its recent acquisition by NYX Gaming.
“I think there’s a lot of room now for OnGame to build and it’s definitely a possibility for us in the next three to six months,” Martin said.
“I like the guys at NYX and I think they’re doing a great job and are trustworthy which is very important in a poker network,” he added.
