Rank Group integrates SafeCharge payment solutions
Operator deploys new payment option across UK-facing Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino sites and mobile apps
The Rank Group has integrated the SafeCharge payment technology platform into its desktop sites and mobile apps across its Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino brands.
Customers of its UK-facing sites will now be able to deposit and withdraw funds through the SafeCharge platform, while the payments firm has also provided Rank with a number of risk management and anti-fraud solutions.
Rank said it had opted for the payments provider after identifying a need to improve its user experience in relation to online payments, which had been limited to traditional card payments, PayPal and Ukash.
“We are confident that by improving our payments platform, we will be able to offer our customers an even higher level of protection against possible fraud,” Lesly Clifford, head of PR at the Rank Group, said.
The payments firm, part-owned by Playtech founder Teddy Sagi, has amassed a number of egaming clients including Playtech, Ladbrokes and Gala Coral and scooped the Payments Company of the Year prize at this year’s eGR B2B Awards.
Since listing on London’s Alternative Investment Market in April this year shares in SafeCharge have increased by almost 40% from an initial purchase price of 168p to 232p at the time of writing.
