Full Tilt drops 'Poker' in diversification rebrand
Rational Group brand changes all URLs after launching casino products and sportsbook development plans

Full Tilt Poker has rebranded as Full Tilt with the Rational Group brand dropping its long-standing FullTiltPoker.com URL as part of its transition into a multi-vertical gaming operator.
As well as rebranding its Full Tilt dot com and dot eu sites, the previously poker-only operator is believed to be preparing to launch FullTilt.es and FullTilt.it brands in the Spanish and Italian markets respectively.
The rebrand, which took place last week, comes after Full Tilt branched out from poker earlier this year to launch a range of casino games after it secured a deal with games supplier Leander Games.
In addition, the operator is also in the development phase of a sportsbook product for which it is believed to be preparing a proprietary platform for use with a third-party pricing solution.
“This year our gaming portfolio on Full Tilt expanded to offer a range of single and multi-player variations of casino games, therefore we have now moved the domain from FullTiltPoker.com and FullTiltPoker.eu to FullTilt.com and FullTilt.eu,” a Full Tilt spokesperson told eGaming Review.
Rational has also been preparing to take the Full Tilt brand into new markets with licence applications made to the Spanish and Italian regulators in recent months, as well as a ‘coming soon’ message on a Swedish FullTilt.se holding page.
And following the pending acquisition of Rational by Amaya Gaming, which is expected to complete in September, Full Tilt is expected to re-enter the US market with New Jersey a likely first destination for its poker and casino products.
