Betway plots summer bingo launch
Operator expands multi-vertical operation with launch of Microgaming-powered Betway Bingo next month

Betway is planning to launch a UK-facing bingo product next month in a move which will complete the operator’s expansion into all main egaming verticals.
Betway Bingo is expected to be powered by long-standing software provider partner Microgaming and follows a number of hires for its bingo team including brand manager Stephanie Eddy
A landing page for the UK Betway Bingo site currently reads ‘Coming Soon! The best in 75 and 90 ball Bingo’ and once launched will join Betway Sports, In-Play, Vegas, Casino and Poker.
“In 2014 the Betway website and product portfolio has seen a major revamp in both usability and aesthetic, this overhaul continues with the launch of Betway Bingo,” a Betway spokesperson told eGaming Review.
“This latest launch allows us to connect with another key gaming demographic and in doing so we aim to give our customers a full offering of products,” he added.
The operator recently unveiled its new television advert for its Betway Vegas product in partnership with London-based marketing agency Above & Beyond.
The 30-second TV ad ‘Terri’ is the second in a series of four adverts as part of the ‘Betway’ stories and follows the launch of Betway’s sportsbook advertisement in time for the World Cup.
The third instalment in the series will promote Betway Casino with the fourth likely to be geared towards its new bingo product.
In May Betway sponsored the hotly-anticipated WBA and IBF super-middleweight world title rematch between Carl Froch and George Groves at Wembley Stadium.
