Unibet signs games content deal with Yggdrasil
Swedish operator becomes latest to enter agreement with supplier for its complete games portfolio

Unibet has become the latest operator to strike a deal with burgeoning games supplier Yggdrasil Gaming after agreeing to integrate its entire catalogue of slots and lottery games, eGaming Review can reveal.
The deal represents something of a coup for Cherry-owned Yggdrasil, with Unibet becoming the Nordic gaming supplier’s biggest partner to date.
Yggdrasil, which went live with its first partner last September, has signed up a number of other big-name partners in recent weeks with the likes of Mr Green, LeoVegas and Vera & John all agreeing terms with the company.
This latest deal will see Unibet integrate all of Yggdrasil’s current games such as new fast high-roller video slot Winterberries, Jokerizer and the daily Lotto7 where players can play for a 2.5m prize.
“Unibet is excited about further improving our product portfolio by launching games from Yggdrasil, particularly the 2.5m live draw lottery,” Daniel Eskola (pictured), Unibet head of gaming, said.
Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive of Yggdrasil, viewed the signature of Unibet as an endorsement of the quality of games his team had developed and was excited about the exposure they will have to the operator’s 500,000 active customers.
“Unibet is one of the most recognisable, fast moving and strategically savvy betting and gaming brands on the market and we’re delighted they’ve agreed to partner with us allowing their huge customer base access to our games,” Elmqvist said.
