NetEnt and GameAccount strike up Italy partnership
GameAccount to supply Net Entertainment's games to a number of its Italy-based clients

Net Entertainment and GameAccount Network (GAN) have moved to strengthen their position in the Italian market by striking a deal which will see GAN distribute NetEnt content in the country.
Work is already underway to integrate NetEnt’s portfolio of games into the GAN platform with Italian operators such as Eurobet, Sisal and Snai to go live with the games during a phased roll-out process over the next few months.
Björn Krantz, MD at Net Entertainment Malta, is confident that NetEnt’s content would find favour with GAN’s network of Italian clients. “Italy is one of Net Entertainment’s core markets and we are positive that our portfolio offering will be well received by GameAccount Network and its major partners,” Krantz said.
According to GAN chief exec Dermot Smurfit, the deal will help to cement the B2B gaming supplier’s position in the lucrative Italian market.
“This partnership with Net Entertainment strengthens our offering and we look forward to continuing to grow our position in the regulated Italian gaming market,” Smurfit said.
The deal represents another milestone for GAN which late last year raised more than £20m after floating on London’s Alternative Investment Market, a move which valued the company at around £75m.
In addition, GAN has made strides in the US market via a commercial partnership with Betfair. GAN provides a platform and game content to the BetfairNJ-branded site which went live at the end of November.
