32Red appoints media strategists for £6m marketing push
Operator calls on expertise of M.i. Media ahead of implementation of major UK marketing strategy

32Red has appointed London-based media planner M.i. Media to help maximise a planned £6m UK marketing push.
The Gibraltar-based operator, which currently has a number of marketing deals in place including its sponsorship Late Night Film on Film 4, made the appointment as part of its plan to ramp up marketing activity in 2014.
M.i. Media will be tasked with looking after the 32Red’s UK media planning and buying account in order to fully optimise 32Red’s marketing spend.
The move was led by commercial director Matt Booth (pictured), who returned to the operator in October after having left the firm in 2008 to take up a role with Betfair.
“M.i. Media demonstrated a detailed understanding of our business throughout the pitch process. I am confident that their rigorous approach will be invaluable to us as we build on the current success of the company,” Booth said.
“[32Red’s] current results are clear evidence of a smart and innovative team,” Clive Howse, M.i. Media MD, said. “We feel the mix of their ambitious growth targets and our approach to media planning and buying will grow their business from 2014 onwards.”
Last month 32Red announced a fourth successive year of growth with full-year revenues up 21% to £38.8m.
