Mr Green to expand female-focused casino
Garbo.com to be released in new markets and languages and Mr Green reveals plans for new Garbo mobile app

Swedish online casino operator Mr Green plans to expand its new female-targeted online casino into new markets along with the launch of a new mobile app following the launch of the product in English last week.
Garbo.com, which was first launched in Swedish last month, features a range of real-money and free-to-play casino games from software supplier Net Entertainment including slots, roulette and blackjack. Titles of the ‘female-friendly’ games include Disco Spins, Flowers and Mythic Maiden.
Following last week’s launch of the English language version, Mr Green founder Mikael Pawlo told eGaming Review he has plans to release the site in additional languages and increase the number of games on offer.
“We will look at releasing it in other languages in the future “ Swedish was just a starting point,” he said. “We plan to add a number of other games in the future. This product is far from finished, but then again I guess it never will be.”
Although Pawlo added that the site will continue to be marketed only in Swedish “until we know that all KPIs look nice enough for an international rollout”.
In addition to extending the product into different markets and languages, Pawlo also outlined plans for the release of a new mobile app next year after a strong initial performance.
“I can’t break down the performance of each individual website, but what I can say is that we are happy with the performance of Garbo so far,” Pawlo said. “We very much see this as being a mobile-first brand and we have plans to launch a mobile app for Garbo at some point next year.”
The news follows the release of Mr Green’s latest financial results which saw revenues for the online casino operator rise by more than 60% and EBITDA by 45.3% year-on-year during the first nine months of 2013.
The publicly-listed firm said the sharp rises in revenues and profits were the result of to its “secure and exciting game experience” and a focus on mobile gaming.
