32Red appoints new commercial director
Former head of marketing Matthew Booth returns to the company from Betfair
Matthew Booth is to return to 32Red after a five-year absence next month to take up the newly-created position of commercial director.
Booth left his role as head of marketing at the operator in January 2008 to join Betfair, where he has held roles including head of marketing and commercial, UK commercial director and global head of brand.
32Red CEO Ed Ware said the appointment was a reflection of the company’s focus on leveraging its marketing budget, while also building its brand both in the UK and internationally.
“Matt has an excellent understanding of global brand marketing as well as strong management skills and will be a valuable addition to the main board,” Ware said.
Booth has also previously held marketing roles at Littlewoods Bet Direct, Stanley Leisure and United Racecourses.
