BetVictor launches new mobile site
Operator says the new upgrade will allow it to improve its customer relationship management through tailored push messaging
BetVictor has released a new mobile site with the addition of live streaming and tailored push messaging.
In addition, the new site also has improved design and navigation while a number of new football coupons are also accessible through mobile.
“The benefit of the push messaging is we can target users with promotional messages based on their previous betting patterns,” Shane Courtney, deputy head of BetVictor’s mobile channel, told eGaming Review.
“The current version of the app only lets us send messages to all customers but with each new version we will be adding more push messaging functionality.”
According to BetVictor, during the month to date, the total number of bets placed via mobile stands at 45% of total bets whilst it has witnessed a 298% increase in registrations via mobile in the last week compared to the same period in 2012.
Following the release, customers on an iPhone or Android will now see the same version if using the web app while the operator is also in the process of upgrading the design of its iOS app so there’s more continuity between products.
The news comes after BetVictor yesterday became the first to launch an in-house privately owned live casino.
BetVictor constructed its custom-built studio at the company’s Gibraltar offices, with 40 croupiers employed to manage games and communicate with players 24 hours a day.
