Landry's appoints Betclic director to egaming team
Warren Steven will serve as online director for Golden Nugget's online gaming business in New Jersey

Houston-headquartered gaming operator Landry’s has appointed Betclic Everest gaming director Warren Steven as product director for Golden Nugget’s online gaming platform in New Jersey.
He is the latest employee to join Landry’s, which owns the famous Golden Nugget casino chain, after former Betclic Expekt CEO Thomas Winter took up the role of vice president for online gaming last month.
Steven will assume the role in December, managing a team of six employees with responsibility for product management and marketing operations for poker and casino.
Steven joined BetClic in 2009 as head of casino and games before becoming gaming director in 2011. He previously spent one year at Paddy Power as casino and games commercial manager.
“I feel very fortunate that Warren has chosen to join the team. He is a seasoned online casino professional as well as a first-class people manager,” said Winter.
“He is equally comfortable in start-ups as well as more mature organizations. He perfectly fits into our ambitious project and will help us build a world-class experience for Golden Nugget online customers,” he added.
The news comes the week after the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement awarded Golden Nugget the state’s second internet gambling permit. Other licensed operators include The Borgata, the Trump Plaza and the Trump Taj Mahal.
