GTECH in Net Entertainment lottery deal
Net Entertainment will provide a range of casino games to World Lottery Association members through GTECH platform

Software firm Net Entertainment has struck a deal with GTECH that will see the Swedish supplier offer its range of online casino games to GTECH’s World Lottery Association (WLA) clients.
Under the terms of the agreement, Net Entertainment will supply GTECH subsidiary SPIELO with products on a tender-by-tender basis which will give WLA customers access to a greater selection of online games.
Net Entertainment said the deal fits with the company’s ambitious growth strategy and its selection by GTECH illustrated the reputation it had built in the market.
“The WLA lottery market requires trustworthy, reliable and stable partners, and GTECHs selection of Net Entertainment is yet more proof of the trust and confidence that exists in our delivery capabilities,” Björn Krantz, Net Entertainment MD and GMO chief, said.
According to GTECH, the agreement will provide its lottery customers with “some of the best online casino games in the market” and enhance “sustainable and entertaining interactive gaming programs”.
“Net Entertainment offers a vast library of top-performing online casino games, and in combination with their technology and operational leadership, we are confident that our selection of Net Entertainment will further strengthen GTECH’s position as the supplier of choice for new and existing WLA customers,” Renato Ascoli, GTECH general manager, said.
The news comes after GTECH this week launched its new poker platform which included a thumb-based mobile poker product for iPads.
The poker product, which was launched at the G2E conference in Las Vegas, will “address the changing dynamics of online poker” and is part of the software firm’s strategy to focus on the US market.
