Iceland Bingo to launch first TV campaign
Dragonfish-powered bingo provider to coincide launch with new sign-up offer as product approaches first birthday
Iceland Bingo is to launch its first television campaign on digital TV in the UK on Wednesday, almost one year since the supermarket chain entered the gaming market.
The campaign will air in two separate bursts, the first of which will run from 25 September to 11 October with the second running between 24 October and 3 November.
The campaign will be launched through egaming affiliate and marketing firm QuickThink Media, which developed the offering in partnership with Iceland Foods last year.
QuickThink Media managing director Jonny Bennet said: “We are very excited to be launching our first TV ad with Iceland Bingo – this will be the start of an aggressive acquisition campaign on TV and online moving into 2014 to further grow the Iceland Bingo brand and increase our market share in online bingo”.
The adverts will promote a new sign-up offer for the Iceland-branded operator, awarding new players a 300% bonus on their first deposit and a free £10 Iceland Foods voucher to be used at the high street supermarket.
Iceland Bingo launched on the 888-owned Dragonfish bingo network in October last year, becoming the first major supermarket brand to launch an online gaming offering.
