Asian-facing operator becomes official Asian betting partner of Premier League football club in three-year deal

Bodog has agreed a multi-million pound deal with Arsenal which will see it become the official Asian betting partner of the Barclays Premier League football club.
The three-year partnership follows the Gunners’ recent pre-season tour of Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan, and will see the Philippines-based operator looking to capitalise on Arsenal’s fan base throughout the continent.
The deal will also allow the Asian-facing operator to develop marketing initiatives and use the English club’s database to provide tailored betting offers to fans in Asia.
“The Premier League’s popularity in Asia is well documented and some clubs have been quicker than others to realise that potential,” Bodog marketing director Izhar Biran said. “The trust and loyalty both Arsenal and the Premier League stand for makes this the perfect partnership to continue the phenomenal growth of the Bodog brand in Asia.”
Vinai Venkatesham, head of global partnerships at Arsenal, added that the deal would provide a platform to further engage with Arsenal fans in Asia.
