Odobo granted Gibraltar licence
Game development platform provider becomes 26th egaming firm to be awarded a licence in the jurisdiction

Game development program and HTML5 platform provider Odobo has been granted a gaming licence by the Gibraltar Licensing Authority.
Odobo, which launched in November 2012, has become the 26th gaming firm to receive a licence from the Licensing Authority joining operators such as bet365, bwin.party, William Hill, 888, Bally and IGT.
Ashley Lang, CEO of Odobo said the company was “proud” to achieve the gaming licence in an egaming jurisdiction he described as “pioneering”.
“This marks another step for Odobo in offering a new platform for game developers and brand owners to produce, market and monetize [sic] games content for the regulated real-money gambling industry,” Lang added.
“As the Licensing Authority will only consider licensing blue chip companies, with a proven track record in gambling, good financial standing and with a realistic business plan, licences are difficult to obtain.”
In December Odobo signed a partnership with Vienna-based development studio Rabcat which became the first company to join Odobo’s Game Developer Platform (GDP).
