NetEnt continues Italy push with Lottomatica deal
Swedish-listed online casino provider expands reach in its second-largest market

Swedish-listed software supplier Net Entertainment has signed a deal with Italian operator Lottomatica to provide online casino games to the Italian market.
The agreement will see NetEnt offer a catalogue of casino games through the GTECH S.p.A subsidiary for the regulated online gaming sector via its Lottomatica.it and Totosi.it brands. Italy is now NetEnt’s second biggest market after the country’s regulator AAMS issued the first online slots authorisations last December.
Björn Krantz, managing director of Net Entertainment Malta, said the company was “very pleased” with the partnership and described Lottomatica as “one of the world’s most reputable gaming corporations”.
“Net Entertainment was a first mover to supply online casino games to the regulated Italian online gaming market in 2011,” he added. “I am confident that the company’s casino portfolio will strengthen Lottomatica’s position even further on the Italian market.”
The deal follows the launch of Net Ent’s new roulette offering on both iOS and Android, adding to its Touch mobile portfolio. Net Entertainment recently won three prizes “ Innovation in Slot Provision, Innovation in Mobile and Mobile Supplier of the Year – at the 2013 eGaming Review B2B awards.
