AGCC sets up US consultancy JV with Spectrum
Alderney regulator and advisory firm team up to form Alderney Spectrum e-Gaming Advisors

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission will look to provide services to regulating governments following an agreement with New Jersey-based advisory firm Spectrum Gaming Group.
The joint venture, known as Alderney Spectrum e-Gaming Advisors (ASeGA), will offer assistance in drafting new egaming regulations as well as being involved in the implementation of technical standards in regulating jurisdictions.
AGCC executive director André Wilsenach (pictured) said the JV would be able to provide “scalable means of supporting a number of jurisdictions at the same time” and “an opportunity to progress common best practice standards of operation”.
Describing the partnership as “a perfect fit”, Spectrum Managing Director Michael Pollock said the two partners “fully understand the goals and challenges” faced by regulators as the egaming industry expands.
Other responsibilities of ASeGA include due diligence and background checks on egaming firms applying for authorisation in trelevant jurisdictions, as well as advisory services aimed at ensuring each jurisdiction’s egaming framework is “fully coordinated with the goals and policies of land-based gaming”.
